Your responsibilities Assists in the preparation of reports, summarizing and forecasting company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. Assists the Controller in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all financial statements. Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements. Assists with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes with focus on Sales, Cost of goods sold, EBITDA, Working Capital and Free Cash flow. Prepares and analyzes quarterly consolidated financial statements for the corporation. Responsible for researching and explaining variances. Provides in-depth analysis on variances and productivity improvements. Reports productivity improvement and key metrics. Assists with capital payback calculations/ROIs. Prepares budgets and financial reports and oversees their evaluation. Interacts with Bilstein¿s headquarters in Germany concerning operational data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Prevents inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting. Develops proper operational, data documentation and troubleshooting procedures. Identifies opportunities for cycle time reductions in all transactional processing areas. Provides analytical support to senior operational management. Provides back up to Controller for all financial matters. Participates in the development and reporting of operational objectives for the plant aligned to strategic objectives. Provides capital investment analysis, and risk analysis to drive business decisions. Provides accurate accounting and financial information for Bilstein of America according to tk, Business Area (CT) and Business Unit policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules. Provides support to the plant to determine and implement cost savings while maintaining compliance to corporate policies. Prepares daily, weekly and month-end reports. Provides product standard and actualized costing of new and existing part numbers. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Your profile Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor¿s degree in Finance or Accounting Financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles¿understands P&L and balance sheet dynamics Working knowledge, understanding and experience utilizing GAAP and IFRS accounting rules and regulations. Experience and knowledge of manufacturing accounting software/systems and reporting tools. Proven ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence. Experience working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred). Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management in the most professional and politically correct manner. Possesses strong presentation skills and is comfortable and adept at communicating to and influencing opinion in large groups. Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and projections. Superior analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to develop and maintain complex financial models. Demonstrated project management experience in planning, executing, and maintaining a project from start to finish. Demonstrates a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills with experience in and capable of working in a fast-paced business environment with tight deadlines.
