Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialists work with Plant Management to inspect all products (can liners and their respective packaging) to ensure the final product is consistent to Heritage Bag Company's established quality standards, customer specifications and production goals. Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Conduct product quality assurance inspections to determine compliance with Heritage Bag Company quality standards.2.Conduct quality assurance testing such as dimensional analysis (length, width, thickness), impact resistance, tear resistance, wet and dry load testing, as well as other testing protocols if deemed necessary to ensure quality standards have been met3.Perform quality assurance testing submitted through Technical Information Management System (CRM) and report results into CRM through approved formats Knowledge, Skills and Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environment. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes of 60 lbs or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.
